Rev. Bismark Opoku-Sarpong is noted as an evangelist, his radio programme is among the most-listened programs heard every Wednesday worldwide on Rainbow radioin London and on 87.5 FM I Ghana.

This only marks the beginning of a great man of God and ministry now impacting the nation with salvation and miracle-healing service of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.


Rev Bismark Opoku-Sarpong was born in 01 May 1963 at Dadease - Abuakwah in the Ashanti Region of Ghana to Opanin Emmanuel KwasiAgyapong and Madam Grace AdjoaSerwah. Rev Bismark Opoku-Sarpong had his Elementary Education at Abuakwah Roman Catholic Primary and Abuakwah Local Authority Middle School from 1966 and passed his WAEC Examination in 1976 with a distinction mark. Due to financial problems, Rev Bismark Opoku-Sarpong did not go to a Secondary School or attend any High Institution. He then went to Nigeria in 1978 to continue his life there but finally came back to Ghana in 1983 because the life there was unbearable for him.

Rev Bismark Opoku-Sarpong started a petty trading by going to Ejura, Atebubu, Yeji and KeteKrachi in Ghana, selling second hand clothes and other things. He then joined Nana Kwasi Enterprise Ltd, a Motor Parts Dealer as Sales person at AboseyOkai, Accra in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana in 1987. He was transfer to Tamale in the Northern Region of Ghana and Techiman in the BrongAhafo Region of Ghana as Sales Manager in 1989.
Rev Bismark Opoku-Sarpong got born again at the Church of Pentecost through a Crusade whilst he was in Tamale and was baptized in 12th November 1989 at the Church of Pentecost.
In September 1990, Rev Bismark Opoku-Sarpong was sent to Germany by his lovely sister Ms Agnes Nana AkuaAfriyie to see if he can have a better life there. Again, life became unbearable for him whilst in Germany so he came to the United Kingdom on the 24th December 1994. When he came to the United Kingdom, he started fellowship with Trinity Baptist Church under the leadership of Senior Pastor Rev Kingsley AppiahAgyei through his junior brother Kingsley AdumattahAgyapong in 1995.
On one faithful Sunday, Rev Eastwood Anaaba came to preach there and prophecy over his life that God is going to use him. He did not believe it was going to come to pass for if true when? Until one day a close friend in that same Trinity Baptist Church called Mr Daniel OseiAcquah invited him to The Apostles' Continuation Church in 1997 and became full member that very year.
Rev Bismark Opoku-Sarpong became the Church Secretary in 1998. In 1999, he had his eyes on his lovely wife Mrs Catherine Opoku-Sarpong then called Miss Catherine BaffoeAnsah, proposed to her and got married on 6th November 1999.

In May 2003 a branch was open for him at Wembley by Chairman Apostle Clement Brakatu who was then in Canada. He started a Theological Studies in 2005 at Wisdom Christian College UK. In February 2006, he was invited to take the Church's Pastoral Cause at DuayawNkwanta, Ghana and was ordained as a Pastor on 26th February 2006. Rev Bismark Opoku-Sarpong completed his three years First Degree in Theology and obtained his BA in Ministry Certificate at Vision International University on 12th July 2008.
Rev Bismark Opoku-Sarpong was appointed as the Interim Head of Administration of the UK Assemblies on October 2008 by the Executive Council of the Church in Ghana. On the 12th of August 2009, Rev Bismark Opoku-Sarpong was appointed as the General Overseer (Highest in Authority) of the UK Assemblies by the Executive Council of the Church at DuayawNkwanta, Ghana. Rev & Mrs Bismark Opoku-Sarpong are blessed with four lovely children, two boys and two girls.
